PROJECT MANAGEMENT
Our Project Management team provides a complete range of professional services including initial project planning (tasks, resources, and schedule), task oversight, tracking, reporting and change management. Construction and target programs are prepared using cutting-edge technology.
Each program contains a well-defined critical path, starting and finishing milestones, manpower planning for each activity, equipment planning for each activity, S-Curves, material schedules and delivery schedules for long lead items. Our agile and responsive approach to management gives us the resilience to execute and complete even in trying times. We think beyond and deliver more.
QUALITY IN CONSTRUCTION & INDUSTRY
DECC practices ” QUALITY in Construction & Industry” methods to ensure all our work is done right, complete, and free of defects the first time. This in-house program is our way of making sure projects go beyond being just “good enough” and exceed the expectations of customers.
We do this by holding pre-installation meetings and conducting inspections during the critical path of projects including the first delivery of materials, first equipment installations, mock-ups, benchmarks for each new type of work, and closure of utility systems. RISK MANAGEMENT
On any DECC project RISK MANAGEMENT starts on day one of the initial project meetings and continues through commissioning. From the start, controls are placed for costs, schedule, quality, and safety. Costs are controlled through planning, tender, accounts and the project controls departments through reporting procedures for budget compliance.
Detailed monthly cost value reconciliations are generated to ensure that costs are within budget, which results in the enhanced financial control of the project.
FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT
Financial Management is centralized at the corporate office which provides complete control over every project activity. The activities are closely monitored to ensure a strong liquidity position. HEALTH & SAFETY
Health and Safety are of paramount importance in DECC. We have established a state of art Accident Prevention Program that includes formal safety training, inspections, audits, and a formalized system of reporting.
Accident prevention is a line management responsibility that is shared at every level of our organization, from the Chairman all the way through to the workforce. We are OHSAS18001:2007 certified.
ENVIRONMENT
Care for ENVIRONMENT has become synonymous with DECC. We promote environmental awareness throughout the value chain by sharing our successes and providing company resources to address local needs. Water recycling, sound and dust reduction campaigns are some of our initiatives. We are in the process of ISO 14001:2004 certification.
